Rasoi Tales ("we", "us") is operated by Saudamini Jalota in Bengaluru. We collect only the information needed to take an order, dispatch it, and stay in touch about your purchase.
What we collect
- Order details: name, phone, email, delivery address, items ordered, order notes.
- Payment data: handled entirely by our payment partner (PhonePe Payment Gateway) — we never see or store your card or UPI details.
- Communication: WhatsApp messages and emails you send us, kept only as long as needed to resolve the conversation.
- Site analytics: basic anonymous usage data (page views, device class) via Vercel Analytics. No personal profiling.
How we use it
- To process your order and dispatch the right items to the right address.
- To message you on WhatsApp or email about your order — pricing quotes, dispatch, delivery, and any quality issues.
- To meet our FSSAI, GST and tax obligations.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except where strictly required for fulfilment (e.g. a courier company handling your shipment) or by law.
Your rights
Write to saudaminijalota@rasoitales.in to access, correct, or delete your data. We respond within seven working days. We retain order records for the period required by Indian tax law (currently eight years) and delete the rest on request.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for cart persistence and analytics. There is no advertising tracking on this site.
